Although this session happened about two months ago, I’m still very much obsessed with Anthony and Emily’s Charleston engagement session. I am incredibly inspired by new and beautiful locations, so Charleston is always an inspiring place for me to visit. When Emily asked if we could do their session there, I may have responded with YES a bit too quickly…
Anthony and Emily were so incredibly kind and sweet. It was a joy spending this afternoon with them, and it didn’t hurt at all that they are such a beautiful couple! I had such a fun time wandering the streets of Charleston with them (and my wonderful friend Summer who came as my road trip buddy/film loading assistant). We also lucked out with the BEST weather. Somehow on a June day in Charleston we got 75 degree breezy weather. Absolute perfection.
These two were so easy to photograph. I swear they were immediate naturals! It’s fairly typical to be nervous before your session. But if I can give any advice, it’s to come to your session ready to have fun and laugh together. Anthony and Emily were so comfortable and at ease with each other, and it translated so well into their images.
I also have an incredibly admiration for these two as they are both going through medical school while planning their wedding! Not at all an easy feat I’m sure, so I’m completely impressed by them. I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding at Daniel Stowe next March!
