Y’all. I love bridal portrait sessions. Not only is it a phenomenal time for bride’s to get the whole look and wear their dress, but it’s such a great way to get relaxed, unrushed photos. It’s always a fun time! The caveat. I have to wait to share the photos!!
I’ve been pretty in love with Karlee’s bridal portraits since I took them at the beginning of August, and I am BEYOND excited that I can share them now that she’s MARRIED! This was the first time I met Karlee, and I just immediately loved how laid back and relaxed she was! When your bride shows up with blue converse for shoes…you know it’s going to be a fun time! Karlee also had texted me asking if she could bring her dog for some shots. Um, YES. This made the session so much more personal, and I just love the shots with her and sweet Sadee!
I am in love with the golden glow we got for her portraits, and the end of this session, y’all. We took some photos in a field right beside a horse pasture, and at the very end the horses came galloping up the fence. I love those shots because I think they just truly speak to how laid back Karlee is. Not many brides would be totally chill calling over horses in their wedding dress- BEFORE their wedding day!
Everything about this session was so personal. I got to meet Karlee’s mom, sisters, and some bridesmaids as they all hung out during the session. The bouquet she used was comprised of the small bouquets her flower girls will be carrying the day of the wedding, which I think is so special. Her now-husband is also a football coach, so she brought along a football so she could surprise him in several of her images. I just love how this session was thought through and made to be very true to Karlee and Tripp.
Ok. I’m going to stop gushing now and just share some favorites! It was so hard to narrow down because I truly loved all of them so much! And make sure to stay tuned for Tripp and Karlee’s wedding coming to the blog SOON!
