I think anyone that has done a long distance relationship can pretty much agree that it’s the worst. Shama and Grace have been traveling back and forth between Greenville and Charleston, and they are so excited to finally be married in September and just be together!
Grace’s sister was the first person I met in Charlotte when we moved here 5 years ago. I met Grace several years ago when she came to visit, so I was immediately excited when she reached out to me about photographing her wedding! She and Shama made the trek up to Uptown Charlotte for their engagement session, and it was HOT. They were such troopers, though. When a couple is up for cuddling in 90+ degree heat…you know they’re in love. And when you can have fun shooting in 90+ degree heat?? You must have an amazing couple in front of your camera! (Insert heart eye emoji here.)
Also, y’all. I love shooting at Marshall Park in Uptown Charlotte. Seriously. They skyline view there is beautiful, there are so many pretty spots, and one block up is a church with white columns that I’m a little obsessed with. This location combined with the way Shama makes Grace laugh…LOVE. Enjoy this beautiful couple! I just can’t wait for their wedding in Greenville in September! It’s going to be so beautiful!
Favorite.
Also fairly in love with this engagement ring! It’s so different and unique. Shama picked it out on his own. Grace said it was so different from what she had thought, but it’s so perfect!
Isn’t Grace so beautiful?!
Can’t wait to see this couple tie the knot so soon! I still have a few 2018 dates left for weddings, so if you know someone who is looking for a photographer- send them my way! There may be a little thank ya gift in it for you, too ;). Get in touch with me here!
