Circumstances have not been on our side leading up to Matt and Rebekah’s engagement session. We had to cancel their original date due to COVID-19 which is understandable. Then the reschedule date had to be rescheduled due to rain! All worth it, though, because this summer night engagement session was so beautiful. The most perfect light, a gorgeous, fun couple….gah, I have really missed photographing couples the past few months!
It was my first time meeting Matt and Rebekah in person, but they are so fun around each other and incredibly personable. I tell my couples that there’s a warm up period at the beginning of the shoot. The first few minutes just always feel a little awkward until you get used to me and it feels normal. Not these two. They were immediately giggling and laughing and just such naturals. Always such a joy to photograph that!
This sweet couple has been together for 5 years, and Matt proposed on the way back from a trip to Nashville to celebrate her 21st birthday. Her friends had tried to convince her to get dressed nicely for the ride home, but Rebekah was not having that and was proposed to in comfy sweats! So relatable and would 100% be me today, ha!
Enjoy just a few favorites from this couple’s incredibly beautiful Clark’s Creek Nature Preserve engagement session! I’m so excited to have them in front of the camera again so soon at their July wedding at The Farmstead!
