Chad and Kathryn are married! February 13th may have been a little cold and rainy, but it was the perfect day for these two to say I do in front of their closest friends and family. Stowe Manor in Belmont was the perfect intimate backdrop for this wedding!
What made this wedding even more fun for me, other than the fact that Chad and Kathryn are incredibly fun people, is that I got to work with the best group of vendors. There was a last minute change of plans from an outdoor reception to an indoor reception, and Sarah Duckworth Events and Kristen from Vintage Soul Floral Design made magic happen and pulled it off so quickly and smoothly. You would never know that wasn’t the original intention for the day.
The details of this day were so special. I loved Kathryn’s shoes and her minimal invitation suite, but aside from that, there were touches of blue hydrangea as a tribute to Chad’s mom, as well as a really sweet candle lighting in her honor at the beginning of the ceremony. Kathryn shared a really special dance with her grandfather, and I swear there wasn’t a dry eye in the building.
And also, their venue choice. Stowe Manor is a beautiful historic manor in the heart of Belmont, NC. It has the most beautiful sunroom and a gorgeous sitting room, so even though it was rainy and cloudy all day, you would never know from their photos! Stowe Manor is the most gorgeous setting for an intimate wedding, and I loved capturing Chad + Kathryn’s day there! Enjoy just a few favorites from their day!
