I met Jodi for the first time a little over a year ago at my sister in law’s baby shower. She’s close friends with my mom, so I had heard about her for a while, and it was so good to put a face to the name! When she had emailed me about possibly shooting her and Chris’ wedding, I was so excited to be a part of their day! It’s been a long time in the making, and they had the sweetest union among their friends and family and children. How in love these two are is so evident to everyone around them, shown through the way they can’t keep their eyes off of each other, the way they make each other laugh, and the tearful vows they shared.
A Lakeview Farms Wedding
I grew up in Pennsylvania literally 2 miles from this venue. A wedding in PA is always the perfect excuse to take the babies up to visit the grandparents. I’ve heard such good things about Lakeview Farms, too, so I was really excited for the opportunity to shoot there! It’s a private barns set in south central Pennsylvania, and the horses, hills, and pond make this venue absolutely gorgeous. The morning started out gray and rainy, but it stopped in perfect time for bridal party shots and the ceremony. Lakeview Farms has SO MANY beautiful spots for portraits- literally could have spent all day wandering around the grounds.
I was so grateful to be brought in to be a part of this day to celebrate Chris and Jodi. This was such a meaningful wedding to be a part of- my uncle officiated the ceremony, I had family as guests, and Jodi has been a sweet friend to my mom for a while now. Thank you so much to Mr. and Mrs. Dellmuth for letting me document the BEST DAY EVER!
FAVORITE!
The way they laugh together though!!
