This was the second morning engagement session in a row, and I’m kinda loving them! Jonathan + Whitney were supposed to have their engagement session on a Friday afternoon at Freedom Park, but due to some heavy clouds and thunder, we rescheduled to Sunday morning. Jonathan and Whitney live in Raleigh, so I was so grateful to be able to get this session in with them before they had to head home!
Y’all. Ok. I know I say this about every couple. I get the absolute best people, but I LOVED Jonathan + Whitney! They’re obviously a gorgeous couple, but they are just so sweet and kind. I loved hearing that they were excited for this session (some people definitely dread having their photos taken!). They were so relaxed and comfortable with each other. It was just so easy to tell how excited they were to be married, and that’s my favorite!
Jonathan + Whitney met in college at NC State, and their first date was at Cowfish (if you haven’t been, go!), so it was fitting that that’s where they went after Jonathan proposed at a rose garden in Raleigh! I loved getting to walk around Freedom Park and getting to talk with them a little bit, but y’all. I’m legit obsessed with photographing them! I’m actually going to keep the words few on this one because there are SO MANY photos! Promise I tried to narrow it down…but it was so hard…you’ll see why! Cannot WAIT for their wedding at Separk Mansion next May!

I know that was so many photos…but I could have chosen at least a dozen more, so I actually think I did great narrowing it down, haha! If you’re still looking for more photos, make sure you didn’t miss another beautiful Freedom Park engagement session with Chris + Lesley!
