I am SO excited to have officially kicked off engagement session season with this Frank Liske Park engagement session! Brooke was a bridesmaid at one of my weddings last fall, and I’ve been so excited to get to know her and Ryan a little bit more. This session was so perfect for that, and we could not have asked for a better day to jumpstart 2021!
If you live in Charlotte (honestly, probably anywhere), you know weather can be….finicky. I never like to start looking at the weather too far in advance of a session because it changes so quickly. But Ryan and Brooke’s day was really starting to look like it would get rained out. Thankfully we didn’t reschedule, though, because what we ended up with was a 70 degree afternoon and SUN! Something that has been all too rare in Charlotte so far in 2021.
After talking so much with people via email, it’s always so fun for me to finally get to meet the face to face on the day of the engagement session. Ryan and Brooke were so sweet and adorable together- seriously, the way he smiled at her just melted my heart. They brought their dog Willow to hop in some photos with them, and she is SO beautiful! I loved getting some photos of their soon to be little family. Everything about this session was an amazing kick off to engagement session season. The light was amazing, Frank Liske Park was beautiful, and I just loved how Brooke laughed every time I asked her to look up at her soon-to-be hubby. This has made me so excited for their October wedding!
