Oh my goodness y’all, William and Virginia’s downtown Asheville wedding on March 7th was the most beautiful day! These two are just such a genuinely sweet (and beautiful!) couple, so I’ve been looking forward to their day for a while!
(If you missed their engagement photos, make sure and catch up on those here!)
One of my favorites part of this day was how sentimental all of the details were. Almost everything has emotional value, and I think it’s so special and made their day that much more unique. The middle diamond in Virginia’s ring belonged to her grandmother and was one of her most prized possessions. William’s wedding band belonged to his grandfather. The ring bearer’s pillow was embroidered by William’s mother, and the exit ribbons were carefully planned by Virginia’s stepmom. Virginia included her great grandmother’s clutch in her detail photos. I just really love the way Virginia loves the people in her life. It was so evident how much family meant to them from how they planned their day.
We started the day at the Cambria Hotel in downtown Asheville. After a few days of rain, I was so excited to see the sun shining for William and Virginia’s day! After everyone got ready, we headed a few minutes over to Basilica of Saint Lawrence. This church is gorgeous. It was so beautiful inside, and it was the perfect backdrop for their friends and family to watch them say I Do.
We then headed to Crest Center and Pavilion for photos and the reception. This beautiful venue is minutes from downtown Asheville, and it’s set against the most beautiful backdrop of mountains. It made for stunning photos, and a gorgeous setting for such a fun reception. Virginia changed into the most fun and beautiful sparkly dress, and she and William danced the night away with their closest friends and family. They had an amazing band, Adrian Dukes Projek, and y’all- they had a live painter! This was one of the coolest things I’ve seen, and the guests were so enthralled! I would for sure recommend this for anyone looking for something different during your reception!
All that to say- I loved this day. William and Virginia, thank you so so much for allowing me the honor to capture this day for you! It was beautiful and sweet and perfect, and I hope you’re loving the newlywed life!
Enjoy a few favorites from their day!
