Oh man, y’all. Two things. First. I’ve been wanting to shoot at the Dairy Barn for such a long time, and so I was so excited when Kathryn suggested doing their engagement photos there! (Made for good practice for their wedding day there next September!) But, second and most important, I loved shooting with Alex and Kathryn! They are a GORGEOUS couple, and it’s so easy to photograph a couple when they’re up for anything!
I know most guys don’t love at all having their photo taken, but it really does make a huge difference when everyone shows up game and ready to just give it a try. Alex and Kathryn had the best attitude during their session. As we were walking to the first location, he just pulled her in and kissed her. And from that second, I knew they were going to be absolutely incredible to shoot! Alex even shared his own ideas, and I just really swear they’re going to be my model couple for everything! I would think something and they would do it. I’ve been fortunate to have a few amazing couples who do this, and it seriously just makes my job SO easy!
I am so incredibly excited to have them back in front of my camera for their wedding at the Dairy Barn in September! I’m sad to have to wait that long, but between the gorgeous couple beautiful venue- it will be well worth it! For now, though, enjoy so many favorites from our afternoon at the Dairy Barn!
