After having to schedule Alex + Jacob’s engagement session because of rain, we could not have had a more beautiful night! (I’ve been saying that so much, but the weather in Charlotte has been top notch lately!) I’ve been really looking forward to this session ever since meeting with Alex a while ago to talk about their day. I knew immediately they would be a gorgeous and really sweet couple, and, not to brag, but I was right. They choose some staple locations for this classic Charlotte engagement session!
We started their session at Freedom Park. This is a favorite for photo sessions, and for good reason. It’s a beautiful park that gets gorgeous light, and you can get really great variety here which is amazing. I LOVED the outfits Alex + Jacob choose- the blue and white popped them off the green background so well, and they looked amazing.
We then went over to Marshall Park. This is another favorite due to the gorgeous Charlotte skyline view. It’s a fairly quiet park, and it’s the most perfect place to wrap up a Charlotte engagement session! Their outfits for this location were perfect, as well- you really just can’t go wrong with such a pretty, flowy dress!
I had such a fun time getting to know Jacob + Alex a bit more and getting to talk about their planning process. Getting close to a year to go until their June wedding next year, and I cannot wait to celebrate with them at Separk Mansion!
