I’ve been to quite a few weddings in my day. Out of all of those weddings, though, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a couple so elated to just be married. The threat of rain all day and the few showers before the ceremony couldn’t even begin to damper the excitement these two had to finally become husband and wife.
If you missed their engagement session, make sure to look at all their gorgeousness here!
Noe and Erika had a small, intimate wedding at her parent’s home in Charlotte, NC. Erika’s father officiated the ceremony, and y’all- so many tears. It was such a personal service celebrating Erika and Noe’s love and devotion to each other and to the Lord, and it was one of the most touching weddings I’ve witnessed. Family and their closest friends were present to watch them promise their lives to each other. It rained right before and after their ceremony but was bright blue skies for the exact time of their service. It’s easy to pass that kind of thing off as coincidence. With such a special couple on such a special day, though, I’m calling it divine intervention.
The reception had open toasts. Quite a few people had so many blessings for the couple. I think almost everyone mentioned how long Noe had waited to marry Erika. He was steadfast and patient for her. He waited for her, and how worth it that wait was. The smiles and tears from Noe and Erika all throughout this day was testament that they belong together. God has something truly great for this couple, and I love that they’re going to use their marriage to honor Him.
Noe and Erika, thank you from the very bottom of my heart for allowing me to capture your day. I will never forger the love and joy I witnessed at your wedding. I hope you had a tremendous time in Asheville and have a wonderful start to your forever!
In case you’ve ever wondered if father/daughter first looks are worth it…always YES.
They had such a sweet time of worship before they began their ceremony.
After the wedding ceremony and recessional, they just held each other for a few minutes. It was probably one of the sweetest and emotional moments I’ve ever witnessed.
