It’s a little hard for me to do a blog post for this session, because there are no words for how much I loved photographing these two. I know “it was a dream” is a tad overused in the photography world…but this session was exactly that. This Charlotte skyline engagement session ranks pretty high on my list of favorites.
And it’s not just because of how beautiful the photos are. I’m a pretty firm believer that photos not only show you a moment in time, but you remember how you felt when you look at it. Looking at these images (even though I’m not in them), I just remember how much fun I had with these two. How natural they were with each other. They way they looked at each other even though they’ve known each other since elementary school (!!). How many of my favorite photos turned out to be ones I didn’t pose or direct at all- they just did it.
I’m keeping the words brief because I truly believe the photos of these two speak for themselves. Enjoy just a few of my favorites!
