I love a classic Charlotte skyline engagement session. When people reach out about an Uptown park, my top two suggestions are Romare Bearden and Marshall Park. My personal favorite for the whole Charlotte skyline view is Marshall Park, so it was perfect for what TJ and Megan were looking for!
We began the session up a few blocks from Marshall Park at the district attorney’s office. I know this sounds weird, but trust me- this place is beautiful. I love the classic white architecture and gold doors. So pretty, and I think this setting was perfect for TJ and Megan’s first and dressiest outfit.
I had so much fun getting to know TJ and Megan during their engagement session! These two are getting married in July in New York, and it was just really fun getting to know their story. They’re both from New York and actually went to the same college, but they never met even though they had similar friend groups. They met at a Panther’s tailgate in Charlotte- is that not meant to be or what!
TJ and Megan are also both teachers, and I have to just give a shout out for that. I’ve always admired and respected teachers, but after this past year…I’m very excited for them to be able to get married and enjoy newlywed life during their summer off! Wishing them nothing but the best and happiest life together!
Enjoy a few favorites from their Charlotte skyline engagement session!
