I’m just going to be very honest about this session- I 100% pictured me in a parka and mittens freezing my butt off. That’s typically what I expect if I shoot in January. To the very BEST surprise ever, the day of Daniel and Chelsea’s engagement session was an amazing, sunny, 70 degree day. Y’all. It could not have been more beautiful. We started this session at Greensboro Arboretum, then drove over to Summerfield Farms where Daniel and Chelsea will be having their wedding in March!
I say this in every post, but truly, Daniel and Chelsea are two of the kindest people I’ve met. This was our first time meeting in person, but it took no time at all before I felt so comfortable with them. I warned them that there was usually a 20 minute “warm up” time. This is time when couples usually still feel a little awkward and are trying to figure out how they feel about being behind a camera. Y’all. Daniel and Chelsea needed no warm up time. They are so NATURALLY cute with each other. Literally, I think I could have stood there, not said a word, and gotten all the photos we needed. (I didn’t, of course, but I really think I could have.)
Daniel and Chelsea met when she came to Greensboro from Atlanta for an internship. They continued talking when she went back, and continued a long distance relationship for about 6 months. Chelsea officially moved to Greensboro 11 months ago for her job. (I’m assuming, Daniel had a lil’ something to do with it ;)). A few months ago, they got engaged, and now in less than two months, they’ll be husband and wife! I am beyond excited to capture their wedding day coming up. I also love that I don’t have long to wait to get them back in front of the camera. Enjoy some absolute favorites from their session!
