A Historic Langtree Plantation Wedding | Jonathan + Whitney

This is such a crazy time in the world for everyone, but especially for brides trying to plan their wedding. Whitney and Jonathan are the kindest people, and they handled all the curveballs thrown their way with so much grace. There’s only so much you can do when a pandemic is happening. They may have had to move their date and change venues twice, but Jonathan and Whitney finally got to say “I Do” and become Mr. and Mrs. Plaisance in a beautiful ceremony at Historic Langtree Plantation on July 3rd.

It was a hot but beautiful day, and I think everyone just had a feeling of, “finally, it’s HERE!”. Whitney looked so stunning as she got ready, and then she shared the sweetest first look with her dad that legit had me in tears. Then her first look with Jonathan where they got to breathe a little easier and get excited about their day together.

Countless situations and circumstances can be thrown at you, and the majority of it will be out of your control. You can, however, choose how you respond, and Jonathan and Whitney still got married, they still celebrated, and they are now getting to live as husband and wife. In 20 years, that will be the detail that matters the most. It was such a joy and privilege to get to capture this union.

(And, can I just say, Jonathan and Whitney are literal models and I am obsessed with photographing them.) Enjoy just a few favorites from their beautiful day!
